I don't know there is Marriot Hotel or Marriott Hotel in Qingdao. Zhong shan Rd. is famous. And other famous streets named Taidong 3rd Road, and Jimo Road. It depends on what you want to buy.

It depends on which kind of cloths you want to buy. Qingdao hasn't a market like Beijing XiuShui Market. But there is a market named Jimo Road, and we call it 901. Yeah, I like NY Bar. It's famous in QD. But in fact, I only go there when I feel bad...

901 is the best place to go if you cant find it there then you cant find it anywhere. Many name brand items at very low prices. Be prepared to Barter on the prices. I have never paid more then 50 - 60% of what they have first asked. Many knock offs and good quality if you understand. If you could bring a local chinese person with you you would then get the better prices as they know. Women are good at doing this and I have always gone there with one suitcase and came home with 2
