Hi!

I spent a couple of months in Dalian and I like the city very much. Unfortunately there is very very few interesting points for sightseeing.

It is one of the few cities in China where you can go diving if you are interested. The diving is not exceptionally good but you can have fun there with locals.

There were some good bars at that time i mean to my taste Paulaner in Kempinsky Hotel, Flying bar on Renmin Lu, the bar in Shangri-La hotel I forgot the name, Maxx, anyway the bar scene in China is changing quickly therefore my information might be out of the date.

You can also visit some beaches but me personnaly I didnt find it very enjoyable.

There are also some good restaurants in Dalian.

Overall I believe that the Dalian is perfect city to live but not hiding something very special for tourists.
