First, you will need a mainland China visa - best to obtain this in your own country, otherwise you will have to spend at least 2 nights in Macau to have it processed.

From Macau airport you can catch either the AP1 bus or a taxi to one of the border crossing points. Because you are heading for Guangzhou it is probably easier to go to the Gongbei crossing (Cerco). There are at least 3 bus companies which run services from just across the border to Guangzhou city - the journey takes 2 1/2 - 3 hours, depending on which part of Guangzhou you are going to.

Thanks Oisaan. I did my visa already. You means use bus at Gongbei Custome to Guangzhou? Which part of the custome? Is it easy to find the bus terminal? What time is the last bus to Guangzhou and how much is the fare per head? Thanks

GongBei will be the only entry port still open after 8pm. Once you leave the customs port you'll be on a huge empty square. Keep to the right side of it and you'll quickly arrive at the Gong Bei bus terminal, just across the road. Buses go to GZ every 15 minutes and cost about 65 RMB.

Which is the best way for me to from zhuhai to Chaoyang朝阳?

1. From zhuhai stay overnight then go to Chaoyang?

2. From zhuhai stay overnight at Guangzhou then go to Chaoyang

Which option save time and money?

Do you mean Chaoyang as in Beijing, or is there another one closer by?

If the former, I would definitely stay overnight in Zhuhai so you don't have to find your way around Guangzhou in the dark. Also, by the time you get across the border most of the buses to GZ will have finished for the night - it would be a very expensive trip in a taxi!

You should check from your ambassy. As a Malaysian, we only do Visa to enter China. I just went back from China. And have a very cheap trip thro the tips from tripadvisor. I entered Macau (without Visa)but need to fill the entry pass as well as entered China too. After going out from Macau airport, get the bus to Gongbei custome, is only cost RMB3.00. When reach the custome, just follow the crowd, most of them going thro the custome to China. When you going out from the custome, there is a underground shopping mall. There is a bus terminal but limited choice. You may not go to the underground shopping mall. Go outside the building,(cross the main road) opposite the building, left and right side of the building, there are few bus terminals which have more choices. There are, Gongbei Bus Terminal and XinHe bus terminal. Antoher terimnal I'm not sure the name. The public transport in China very systematic, you will surprise when you need to scan your bag even using bus.

Southvn, you will need two visas. The Macau one can be obtained on entry (MOP150 each), but it will be more convenient to organise the mainland visa while you are still in Vietnam.
