The MTR commuter train goes from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau into Kowloon and Hong Kong island. Cost is around HK$40 and time is around 60 minutes. Trains leave every few minutes and you cannot book in advance.

The trains from Louhu to HK leave every few minutes. If you have luggage, you will have to manage it yourself. I recommend that you go to the first class car (marked on the platform), because it has an area where you can put your luggage. You will need to tap your Octopus card a second time for the extra first class fare. Regular class HK33 (a year ago) First Class HK66.
