taxi, no. private car transfer, yes. ~1000RMB+ or call your hotel.
Shangri-la is literally next to the border. Walk across the border and take the train for 1 stop then taxi. ~400HKD 1hr30
Or take mainland taxi/subway to HuangGang border(under 100RMB), then take HK coach bus to airport (150HKD)
Wow...Who pays 1,000RMB for a car service to tha airport?
For me there's:
1. The ferry..but not what you want.
2. cross the border across the street and take the train to the first stop. Get off and walk 40 steps to the bus stop. There's a bus that goes directly to the Airport for 20HKD. But it's cash only and no change offered, so beware. Or take taxi, prices prevously quoted.
3. The van prices quoted seem expensive to me. I pay around 400RMB from the OCT area of the Crowne Plaza/Intercontinental area. Inter is about 525RMB, but the seaview is only ~400RMB. YMMV
It takes about an hour to 1.5 depending on the border crossing time at Shenzhen bay. Coming from where you are, expect 2+ hours.
Hi,
Where do you book the van for 400 RMB. I only got quotes for 180 US$
Thanks, Astrid
Depends on whether someone along the line mistook Shenzhen airport for Hong Kong airport.
