Macau to Shenzhen or Macau to Chendu

Hi. I plan to fly in to Macau soon. What are the travel alternatives to get to Shenzhen? Frequency, cost, and time by each alternative? My objective is to catch a flight from Shenzhen to Chengdu. How much does it cost to fly from Macau to Chengdu? Any flights at all and time? Much appreciate if you could give me as much detail as possible. Thanks

Sites such as elong.net and zuji.com can answer your questions regarding price and frequency of flights.

Flights will be cheaper from Shenzhen. Also consider flying from Zhuhai. However, getting to either Shenzhen or Zhuhai from Macau will involve travel time (2-3 hours).

Obviously it will save you a few hours at least to fly direct from Macau to Chengdu, but it will cost you probably twice as much as flying from an airport across the border.

Zhuhai airport is very small, not much choice of flights, about 50km from the Macau border. There are buses that run out to take passengers to specific flights.

Shenzhen airport has a direct ferry service from Macau 3 or 4 times a day; if your flight time meshes with that it can be a good option.

Guangzhou airport will have lots of flights, but it's about 2 1/2 hours by bus from Zhuhai - there are airport express buses running from the above-ground bus terminal on the far side of the vehicle crossing from the immigration building.
