Philly day trip must see's

We're planning a day trip to Philly from the Marriott resort what must we see while there? We are traveling with 2 teens and one child, thanks!

There is so much to do in Philly. If u are seeking things to do in Philadelphia, I suggest posting at a Philadelphia posting board. If u r seeking opinions of Philly from ppl who visit the NJ shore, I suggest posting at the Atlantic City board as it is much busier than this board [I found this post by mistake].

While visiting, be sure to visit Smithville as it's just a few mile up Rt9 from your hotel [from Seaview, make a left & follow to Smithville] Historic Smithville

It is a village of unique shops with loose chickens, ducks, geese. There is a pond on-site that has pedal boat rentals & radio-controlled toy boat rentals [warm weather]. Fred & Ehtel's has american fare at reasonable prices - this is especially a plus as it LOOKS like a pricey tourist trap, as well as the shops are affordable.

Near Smithville is the Noyes Museum http://www.noyesmuseum.org/

Noyes includes [or used to] Starbucks coffee in admission price [$4 pp].

and Edwin B Forsythe Wildlife area http://www.fws.gov/northeast/forsythe/

Forsythe has an 8 mile wildlife drive with 2 observation towers that have free binoculars. They brag about their AC skyline view... but it seems out-of-character for a wildlife refuge. Admission is $4 and inculdes all car occupants If you want to do all 3, this can be an all day excursion
