There have been a few messages on this forum about newly opened gardens in Dubai and although the regular posters and visitors have been mystified as to what is being referred to, I think I have found what everyone has been talking about; the Dubai Miracle Gardens, just opened on the 14th of Feb 2013. It is a 72,000 Sq M planted area with over 45 million landscaped flowers. Entrance is 20AED for adults, free for children.
Situated just off the Umm Suqeim Road, as you head towards Arabian Ranches, they are behind the Dubailand sales office (strange structure with a mini-rollercoaster etc on the roundabout before Arabian Ranches).
But they close in June for the summer so if you are here before then, maybe worth going for a wander?
