Plugging in iPad on Emirates flight?

Have checked on Seat Guru & it says AC power for the seats on the flight. Does that mean we can use usual UK Apple charger to plug the iPad in on the flight or do we need some sort of adaptor? Hoping watching stuff on iPad is going to keep our little one occupied!!

No, it depends on your aircraft but none of them will take a 3pin UK/UAE one without an adapter. You'll require either a US or EU one. Not all aircraft have them.

Some of the newer planes also have USB socket with power.

Emirates in-flight entertainment is recognised as one of the best in the airlines industry. Lots of movies, TV series & programmes to choose from apart from games. Programmes for kids are well catered for too if you don't want to use the iPad or if it runs out of battery.

I agree it is very good - but no Peppa and if the iPad buys us time we may actually get to watch the inflight entertainment system ourselves!! :-)
