It may be advisable to book times, as when we went it was quite busy in the early evening.Don,t know about the pistol shooting as we only booked in for the clays

I emailed and asked about the Archery and got a reply back saying we could use the facilities even if we're not staying there. Its AED 50 for half an hour per person. Not sure about shooting because I didn't ask about that.

We booked by e-mail proir to leaving home and confirmed the times when we were in Dubai just to make sure.

I had shot before but Sue had instruction which was very good,

from the research i did last night, the pistol range is about 50 DHS fro 25 rounds. I think if you require instruction, the price rises to 80 DHS.

I think this is for .22

I know they do have larger calibre there (.38's & 9mm), but I dont know the pricing for these, or even if these would be available to non-regular visitors due to the obvious safety implications.

They welcome walk ins. I have shot clays and pistol there often. The staff is friendly and helpful. You pay by the number of bullets/shells you buy. The guns are good quality and well maintained.

Note that they do not open until the afternoon and I think they are closed on Mondays.

The largest pistol they had one year ago was a .38 S&W revolver. (They are limited by the police to nothing larger than 9mm)The semi-autos are in .22 cal and maybe a .32. Shotguns are 12 ga Berettas and 410 for the ladies.

There is also a shooting range in Sharjah. They have Glocks and CZs in 9mm.
