Thank you, Thats the route Im trying to look into? Cant get any info up yet on buses or ferrys! What I need to know is do the buses run daily to and from Split/Dubrovnik and are the ferrys to/from split/Hvar daily too? Have you taken this route? Any advice is welcome.

Catamaran goes from Split to Hvar town twice a day (3 and 5 pm). Ferry goes to Stari grad on island Hvar I think 4-5 times a day.

Yes there are many buses between Dubrovnik and Split daily and many ferries or cats out to Hvar too. It won't be a problem plus you will have absolutely magnificent views from the bus from Dubrovnik to Split!

Lots of buses - in March there are 14 a day from Split to Dubrovnik so there will be more in season. split bus station website is good and you can set it for buses to Split or from Split (just doesn't include your dates yet). www.ak-split.hr/EN/vozni.red/index.html

You will need to get from Cavtat to Dubrovnik bus station first. For the bus ride sit on the left side of the bus for best views.

Are you staying in Hvar Town (cat is best from Split)or elsewhere (ferry may be best)?

I like the idea of a stop at Ston, but the price is three times that of the regular buses.
