Best Location, Young couple Dubrovnik

Hi, going to Dubrovnik late summer (August) with girlfriend. Both 21 and would like to know best location to stay. Looked out a few good locations in Lapad. Any suggestions or advice?

I would say Ploce to be close to the action and great views of the Old Town!
