Has anyone stayed in the ADRIA Apartments?

Are there steep steps to get to them from the road?

What is the weather like in Dubrovnik at the end of September?

Is it possible to get to the pilgrimage town of Medjugorje from Dubrovnik for a day?

I am sure you could find an organized tour from Dubrovnik to Medugorje. If you were able to rent a car for the day that would be a good way to get there too.

The Lapad area of Dubrovnik is one of the nicer parts of Dubrovnik. You have a lovely prom walkway full of bars and eating areas and the local bus stop to the old town at the end of this street. Buy your bus tickets from the hotel they are cheaper than on the bus...each ticket lasts for one hour of travel after you have activated it on the bus so best to buy a few tickets. You have lots of young people along Lapad prom selling tours to Mostar, Medugorje and Montenegro for around 40/45 euros or pay in kuna's you need your passports for all of these trips. Depending on how many in your group i would suggest Toms tours ( Ive just done a review on trip advisor about this company) www.dubrovnik-tours.info/medjugorje.htm .....it worked out cheaper if four of you go we paid 50 euros each, its less hassle getting through the border and you will see more in comfortable air con 7 seater and a great english speaking guide who's name is Michael.....

There will be a bus waiting on every incoming flight so you should just plan on getting on that bus.
