Small town / village near split

Hi

I would like some ideas for a small costal town or village near split to stay for ten days please :)

Something like Bol, small but with a few cafés, promenade etc and a nice beach for a toddler to rampage about on

I love Bol but my wife doesn't want to stay on an island for ten days :(

Hvala Vam!

Sean

Can you tell us the dates when you plan to stay or at least a month?Because Baška Voda is nice but in this period you will find like 10 people in the town with maybe, maybe one restaurant so month is really important?

Not sure about Brela, Primosten looks lovely isn't it a party destination though ?

Actually Primošten is not a party destination, city Hvar and Zrce are :)

Since you are coming in September Baska Voda is a great choice of small town with amazing sandy beaches ;)

I guess I haven't ever thought of Primosten as a party destination...every time I have been there the crowd has mostly been families....and Brela is a small place a little more on the quiet side than some other places in the Makarska Riviera.

There are a couple of big clubs there I believe.

There seems to be precious little documentation about the place though.

Aren't Brela and Baška Voda walking distance apart anyway ?

I've yet to see a sandy beach in Croatia that was actually sand, Montenegro maybe ...

I've actually been on 3 sandy beaches in Croatia! Maybe 4 - I think Omis has sand too.

Primosten, Seget Vranjica quite near Trogir, Tucepi could be on your list. Okrug Gornji on Ciovo (also by Trogir) could also be considered.

Ciovo looks good, primarily for proximity to Trogir. Best of both worlds there I think
