It's a decent cheap hotel - the area around it is fine during the day but can be a bit rough at night - taxi to and from the hotel if out at night and you will be fine - usual care to be taken. They do offer airport transfers which is nice and rooms run from $22.00.

The Milan is more in the center of town and a few dollars more per night. It's clean and modern - heard they put very low wattage bulbs in the rooms but that may have changed.

I agree with other post. Just spent 5 days at Hotel Milan and it was excellent. Good location, excellent price, very clean

Yes, we stayed there two nights and would have moved out if we could have found a booking in another hotel at 10 PM when we arrived from the States.

The hotel is run down and absolutely no maintenance has been done on this place. The shower heads are missing, shower doors don't have a track on which to roll. When you leave your room, they shut off the air conditioning and flip it back on, from the desk, when you return (stuffy until the air conditioning gets really engaged.

The free trip into the hotel from the airport is not worth what you have to put up with in your room.

Sheets are torn and bedcovering is so thin you can see through it.

Stay away unless you are a backpacker-they can put up with anything for money.
