Centennial Bridge to Gamboa Rainforest Resort?

Anyone know the distance between Centennial Bridge and Gamboa Rainforest Resort? How about the time between the two? Or what roads one would follow? I have found out from helpful people in this forum about the Centennial Bridge but have not been able to find a map that shows roads going to it.

The distance between Centennial Bridge and Gamboa Rainforest Resort is 20 min. by car. You will see it on your way from Panama City to Gamboa, on your left hand side, after you pass the Pedro Miguel Locks.

Or once in Gamboa, take the principal road that will take you to the small bridge over the lagoon, where there is a traffic light, as if you where going back to the city. Follow the road and you will see the Soberanía (SUMMIT) National Park on your left hand side. Then, you will come to a stop sign. Make a right as if you were going to the city and Pedro Miguel Locks. You will pass the Summit Golf Course on your left hand side. Keep driving, for about 3 minutes, and you will be able to see the signs that will take you to the bridge.

The roads to the Centennial Bridge are very new (less than 6 months old ) so I guess you won´t be able to find a map. The bridge connects the city of Panama with the west side of the Republic of Panama (Pacific Side). So this highway will take you to Chorrera on one end, and to Patacon - Panama City (Tumba Muerto-Avenida Ricardo J. Alfaro) on the other end.

This bridge is an alternative to the Puente de las Americas bridge over the Panama Canal.

Hope this helps you. Have fun in Panama!

Thank-you Hybiscus , you have been very helpful. If you were traveling from Toucumen airport to the decameron which bridge would you take?
