The charge actually depends on the city you visit. The guides can charge per excursion or daily flat rate. Like in Lugansk Ukraine if you want to have a guide and interpreter at the same time you will pay like 70 USd per 8 hours for the guide to show you around.

As a rule All the concomitant expenses like cars , board and bed and all sorts of travel expenses are paid separately by the clients.
