I've been staying at lots of hostels (been to some 40+ countries) and this was the worst one I can remember.

One night one of the guests brought a prostitute into the room and it was nothing strange about this for the owner. They talked and laughed about it and showed pictures (!!) the day after.

The manager/owner has very good knowledge on where to find prostitutes (but of course he calls them "professionals") and will gladly share his knowledge.

The hostel is run by a 17-year old boy that has 36 hours shifts (he was actually very friendly), and was yelled at by the manager every morning so that I woke up.

During my stay I think about half of the guests were in Kiev for prostitutes and these guests thought the hostel was very good. If that's not your thing, stay somewhere else!

There are lots of other things I could complain on too, but I don't want to come off as a crazy complainer, so...

I stayed for two days in July 2008.
