Kirsty, we stayed at the Ralitsa a couple of years ago, no worries there, you'll be fine. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk (downhill) from the centre, and is near to the bus station if you fancy doing it yourself on days out. Varna is the "big" town, and is worth a visit, as is the small town of Balchik, just up the coast, with it's Botanical Gardens and the Summer Palace. The jeep safari is good fun, & a good way to see the locality, just ask at reception.
