Are cheeses and dips allowed to be bought into Rarotonga

Can anyone tell me if you are permitted to take cheeses (eg, Brie, Havati, etc.) and dips into Rarotonga ?

If you use the search feature for Rarotonga, and type in: food into rarotonga

you will find out. Big thing about taking any food into The Cooks is to ALWAYS declare it upon arrival. Good Luck. Chuck...

Kia Orana JDBoy_NZ, welcome to the Cook Islands forum.

You can take dairy foods from NZ into Rarotonga including cheeses. No need for a MAF (sorry - Primary Indus ministry) export permit. Just declare all your foods as usual, and it helps to prepare a list itemising the foods you are carrying into Raro.

Cheers - kia manuia.

Honey is the big no no, as it is for NZ. Have a good holiday. j
