I was wondering if anyone out there has tried guinea pig or Alpaca steaks. These were featured on Samantha Brown's Passport To Latin America this week and she didn't seem to like the guinea pig very much. So if anyone has tried these foods or any other Incan foods please tell me what your impressions were.
The Incans were also responsible for about 400 different kinds of potatoes. Are there any varieties of potatoes that are particulary good to look for in the local restaurants?
Are there any other kinds of Incan foods and drinks to try?
Has anyone tried the Coca tea? What was it like? How about chewing the coca leaves?
