Inca Trail- End of March?

Hello, I'm thinking of doing the Inca Trail at the end of March as that is the only time I can go for a two week trip. How is the weather then? Any advice on clothing for that period?

Thanks!

Its the end of the rainy season and still summer in Peru.

Nice and hot during day time and kind of chilly in afternoon and night. Maybe some rain.

Things are green and lush at that time. If it is you only chance to go - take it. Make sure you acclimate first if you are not used to altitude hiking.

It is the rainy season and it is quite likely it will rain in the afternoon or more. I would try to do the Inca Trail during the dry season. It is just a better time to do it.
