Lima Airport Layover

We Are flying on LAN from New York to Lima and arriving at 6:50 AM. The best deal we have found on flights from Lima to Cusco is with Star Peru, but the latest flight leaves at 9:10 AM. To anyone who has traveled through the Lima Airport or with these airlines- is this enough time? Should we dish out more (alot more!) to fly with another airline and have a longer layover? Thanks.

It is possible but only if the first flight is on time. How often do flights leave out of JFK on time?

The midnight flight out of JFK is almost always on time but it´s still cutting it too close. I´d allow more time if at all possible.

Should be Okay if your flight is not delayed.

Normally at your arrival time you should not find to many people at immigrations and customs as the real heavy arrivals are close to midnight.

Hi, I did this trip from JFK to Lima and then a 9 am flight to Asuncion... everything went smooth, not so many people at inmigrations as xochitl says... traveling only with carry on bags, and we have to chek in the airport again due to different airlines.
