Ok, here's the challenge... Where is the best place to get traditional dishes like Lomo Saltado and Chicharon? Non-tourist places with a tight budget. s20 MAX. Also, what else is a must try in Cusco?
Thanks,
Fiona

Also bring hand sanitizer, always use it before meals (or even eating snacks). All water should be either bottled water, or boiled & cooled, even for rinsing toothbrush. All vegetables & fruit should be either cooked or peeled.
In addition to Cipro, we also brought Immodium and Pepto-Bismol. Luckily, we didn't need any of these medications.
Try la Chomba on Av. Tullumayo. Entrance is through a non-descript door about 50m down Tullamayo from Ruinas Street on the left hand side.
They do chicharron and other local specialties and I hear its pretty good and cheap.
Thanks very much for all your help & suggestions everyone.
Now to try them all...
Thanks,
Fi
