Where to rent portable wifi device in Singapore

Hi, I will be in Singapore for 1 week in January next year. Just wondering, where can I rent a portable wifi device / mobile hotspot for 7 days? Any suggestion and advice will be greatly appreciated !

The data roaming charges is insane!

I thought of buying a prepaid data card, but I hate to switch my sim card with the data card every time! I went to Korea before and rented a portable wifi device (some countries called it mobile hotspot), it is awesome! Im looking for something similar in Singapore.

Any idea where can I find it in Singapore?

Wifi is free in almost all restaurants, bars in SIN. Some hotels have free wifi that comes in package with room rate ( not all but some).

About renting wifi device....no idea.sorry.

Wireless@SG is a free wifi network spread over the city. Though you need a local phone number to receive your password when you first register...you may get a prepaid card for around s$8: http://www.m1net.com.sg/Wireless-SG/ssa/

Sky/Matt, you need to update our website. Looks terribly unproffesional. No contact details, no registered address no Singapore Bussiness registration and you expect people to allow you to put a $350 hold on their credit card with no means of contacting you to get their money back when you the postal service fails to delivery the unit or fails to return the unit back ( I see their is a prepaid envelope so that means non registered mail).
