Camera/video camera in humidity..

I've heard that you need to be careful with your camer and video camera with the humidity. It can effect the workings of both. Is this true and if so what is the best way to combat the problem? Thankyou

Hi. I'm no expert, but I don't think it is a problem. If you are living in Singapore, u may want to protect your camera & video video cam by putting in a drybox, but many of us just leave such equipment in a handy drawer :-) Don't think u need to worry :-)

i have a dry box for all of my cameras but i also know of many people who keep them without.

the normal workings of the electronics should not but affected if it is used everyday. unless the equipment is left untouched for say a couple of years, then yes a dry box or silica gel is required in Singapore
