> I think the cheapest is by overnight ferry service from Manila? Good Luck :)
> Cheapest still is by bus from Manila Philtranco, they have aircon and non aircon bus rides.
Previous to both, I had said:
> Most affordable? Least costly? Cheapest? RoRo, (aka SRNH)
> See dotc.gov.ph/actioncenter/roro_directory.htm
> and http://www.da.gov.ph/updates/roro.html
That first website gives contact numbers for both Philtranco and for Bachelor Express bus companies which ply Manila-Caticlan routes via RoRo.
That second website gives more details about RoRo travel.
Both of these are RP Govt websites, and are likely outdated.
Regarding non-RoRo ferries, I believe that both Superferry and Negros Navigation have stopped servicing the Manila-Caticlan route due to low passenger demand during this time of year. MBRS Lines currently operates one trip per week, using MV Mary the Queen departing Pier 8 in Manila's North Port at 5PM on Fridays.
Some MBRS contact numbers:
243-5888 - MBRS Office on Pier 8, North Port
749-1661 - MBRS Agent in Bambang, Santa Cruz
921-6716 - MBRS Office in Cubao, Quezon City
413-0233 - MBRS Agent in Oliviros, Quezon City
(It has been some time since I verified these and some of them may no longer be valid)
