My prayers to the Philippines people dem. We got back 1 week before the storm hit. Truly Blessed....
Toronto to manila is a whole other thread in its self so let's just keep it boracay. Lol
At naia terminal 3 go to check in at Cebu pacific and told our flight to calitan was cancelled. But they had flight going to kalibo. They offered 2x future flights, food and transport from kalibo to boracay so I said why not and took that flight instead despite getting there a bit later.
10 min tri ride and we arrived at our hotel Boracay Regency in station 2. It was already night when we checked in so we walked around the beach front for a bit ate some food and went back. It was a long day tho, left around 12 noon from manila and got to the hotel around 8 pm.
Still jet lagged managed to get up and early like 5am early lol. I never get up this early for anything back home but with the 12 hour difference it was like waking up at 5pm lol Anyway went straight to white beach.
Wow it was beautiful, low tied and very calm water. The view towards station 1 was spectacular.
Bumped into some locals catching worms in the sand, used to catch fish later on that day. One fella was trying to up sell some activities but way to early for me so I told buddy to get at me later but he ended up becoming our main link for everything.
After sunrise we had breakfast at Seabreeze, that place is pretty good lol. We ate there every morning. So while eating, we were deciding what to do and where to go.
I was super excited to see Puka beach so we went back to our room got some stuff and took a tri. 100 peso there and 150 peso back.
Picture nuh do justice!!!! Puka beach is just gorgeous, we had the whole beach to our selfs. The water was too strong tho, I didn't jump in for a swim but we stayed there for hours just soaking it all in. Been to many islands in the Caribbean, small beach in Ocho rios Jamaica being my favorite but damn Puka is up there in my books. The whole time we were an Puka it was raining in white beach, we had perfect weather hahahahaha.
Got back to hotel room and checked out the main pool with the bar. It was pretty chill, those fruit drinks are really good too. Had to get my Malibu on too.
It was already mid afternoon so headed back to white beach and the water just looked beautiful. Weather was perfect too, clear Sky's and it was damn hot.
So we texted the fella we bumped into the morning to work out a price and time for parasailing. Got it for 2k plus tip for 30 mins for both of us. Considering we pay triple that amount for 5 mins in the Caribbean or Mexico, that was a good deal.
Omg I'm afraid of heights at 50ft it was tolerable, at 100ft I was like to my girl let's end this quick hahahahhaha. The view tho, impeccable !!!! We had our camera shooting a vid, you can hear me in the background like we too high now lmao. Parasailing was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
Crashed early the night before this time I woke up at 4am lol we were out the room at around 5am headed to white beach for a swim, the sun was just coming out, almost pink sky like. Beautiful again that's all I have to say.....
Breakfast at Seabreeze again deciding on what to do, and see. We decided on the atv trip to Mt. Luho. My girl had a link and we only paid 700peso for everything including the tri there and back plus atv ride up.
First the atv ride up was super fun, my girl enjoyed it especially. Once we reached the top, climbed up the steps and reached the top of boracay. Wow, view of white beach and the ocean was just too nice. I really enjoyed it up there, just thought to myself came so far to see this view and it was so worth it.
Went back to regency for a bit, white beach again for a swim. Later we decided to check out dmall and walk along white beach to station 1 for sunset.
On the way we got some Starbucks of course and my girl got a braid. We also got some kids to make us those sand castles with our names in it. That was really dope.
Willys rock was a sight to see, never seen a rock look so beautiful just sitting there in the middle of everything. How that thing get there? Lol station 1 is defiantly nicer out of the 3. The sand was so much finer too.
Walked all the way to the end of station 1, in the morning we watched the sunrise and now sunset. Haffi say sunset was just as beautiful.
Last day and only day we slept in, got to seabreeze around 9am and it was packed, still managed to get a table tho.
We hit up dmall again and picked up tons of souvenirs for friends and fam.
Had to get a few more hours at the beach before we checked out so we hit white beach again for a last dip. It was a beautiful day, clear blue Sky's and perfect tanning weather.
Checked out of hotel and we decided to go with the private car from the jetty port to kalibo airport. Cost 2500 for everything, much better then the bus we ride coming here. Brand new car and the drive was really nice, we drove by a beach front school, I was like wow!
Thruought our stay we had perfect weather I think it rained once for like 10 mins. My boracay experience was a blast, I definitely will be going back, prob like to stay in station 1 next time.
