There is no way lobster is P1500 to P1800 per 100 grams(which makes it P15000 to P18000 per kilo?)

oops on the lobster, read my notes wrong late at night, sorry..there was a guy on the beach asking that price to tourists, but at talipapa.live lobster is P2800 per kilo, dead lobster is much less. Avoid dead lobster of course, even if so called chilled. This is before negotiated prices. .

Sirenna, what is referred to as spiny lobster in the Philippines, may be referred to as crayfish by australians, but is in fact neither true lobster or crayfish. Crayfish or crawdads are small fresh water shellfish most commonly found in the USA, and are closer to a true lobster[north american/atlantic lobster] than a spiny lobster is. Regardless of what we call it, spiny lobster is way over priced in the Philippines. True lobster can be had for $6 a pound in USA or around $13 per kilo or a little over 500php per kilo
