Hong Kong Arrival

Arriving in Hong Kong approx 9pm staying at the Marriott Hotel in Harbour Road, would be very grateful if someone could advise me if its feasible to get the Express train into the city or because of late arrival would taxi be the best bet.

We are also looking to buy a Breitling watch over there and was wondering where the best place to buy would be

Many thanks

Breitling watch : authorized dealers as per official website. Shop around. Be prepared to bargain hard and walk out if the price is not good. Don't know the numbers for this specific brand but other luxury brands can be discounted by as much as 40% at authorized dealers. Grey market dealers offer deeper discounts of course.

First, Marriott is not on Harbour Road. I guess you mean Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, it is on Harbour Road and managed by Marriott group. You can take the free shuttle bus H1at Hong Kong Station after taking Airport Express train, no problem arriving at 9pm, shuttle bus run until about 11pm.

Senna ,

You can also try the jewelly chain store Chow Tai Fook, their branch in Causeway Bay sells watches (but not sure if there are Breitling):

ground floor, Causeway Bay Plaza 1, 489 Hennessy Road.

If arriving in central HK at around 10pm just take a taxi to hotel for a cost of HKD15. The shuttle bus will take forever.
