Hello Rockinmama,

Have no personal experience with this particular tailor but if you simply type in 'tailor' in the Search Box on the top of this forum page, you'll find quite a few past discussions on this subject with plenty of recommendations and past experience testimonies and thoughts from past visitors. This might be a good place to start.

This is an approximation of what I usually say about tailors.

When you arrive at Hong Kong airport you will see numerous pamphlets on various racks free to take. Take the map of Hong Kong, look at the advertisements and choose one of those tailors. They won't be the cheapest around but they will be relatively safe, as they will belong to the HKTB's quality assurance scheme which gives you some minimal protection. Everyone on this site has their favourite tailor, and every favourite tailor has its critics, so the advice can be very confusing. A good rule of thumb is not to use those who put their touts out on the street. Another one is to remember that you get what you pay for. If you get a suit really cheap – it's just that really cheap suit, and after a year or so it will look like a hop sack. Also be suspicious of any tailor that doesn't insist on at least a couple of fittings. You can't get it right with just one, and IMO 3 is much better than 2."

G'day, wise advice from @Guerilla%20Surgeon , especially have one of the fittings after a hearty meal, and also bear in mind functionality of apparel.

Sometimes it helps to bring your favourite apparel from home, which you love the fit and makes you look good .

Yep, look for the ones with the Certification Trade Mark - Hong Kong Tourism Board's ' Quality Tourism Services' mark.

So, it may be a good idea to check out tailors which are accredited under the Quality Tourism Services Scheme, and you can find the list here: discoverhongkong.com/eng

And type custom tailors in search function box..voila.
