Dear travellers,
I am arriving at Shenzhen airport at 830pm. I need to get over to HK to the Discovery Bay region on Lantau Island.
I know there are hundreds of posts but they all seem to refer to getting to Kowloon. Which is the best way to get to Discovery Bay from Shenzhen?
Is the FuYong ferry nearest to SZ airport? Where is the Shekou ferry?

The last bus from Shenzhen airport to Kowloon station is 9pm. If you can catch that it is probably the best way. From Kowloon station catch train to Central and then the ferry to Disco bay.
The last ferry from Fu Yong to HK island seems to be 1930 so that's no use. Maybe there are later ferries from Shekou.
Another option is to take bus K568 from Shenzhen airport to Lowu, Shenzhen. Then cross the border and catch the MTR to Kowloon Tong, change for Mongkok, then change again for Central. Then walk to ferry pier.
It appears that there is a ferry from Shekou to HK island at 2100.

However, I doubt if you could get to Shekou from Shenzhen airport in 30 minutes.
Fu Yong the ferry terminal closest to the airport.
