The Airport Express has now been operating for a few months. It's about a 5 minute walk from the terminal. For RMB25, it will take you to Sanyuanqiao or Dongzhimen stations.

Note that during non-rush hours, you may want to take a taxi instead. Door-to-door to your hotel should cost around RMB80-100 depending on your hotel location.

HI there...I just returned from China....I took the Airport Express train from the airport like the previous poster mentioned. It didnt take that long and then I did the subway to the station where my hotel was. The subway was a little crowded but it was a Saturday so I avoided the true working crowd rush hour. Cheap method of travel but I took a taxi for my return and it cost about RMB100 - worth it for an early flight!!!

Yes

You can walk directly to the airport express station at the airport, no need for a connecting bus.

of course you can walk from airport terminal hall to Mass transit railway system.
