Hi TA folks,

I had hoped to visit in the spring but now my only option is November. I have e-mailed the China Guide and am waiting to hear if they will run the camping tours in November. Do you think it will be too cold at that time? I would define too cold as uncomfortable to sleep at all with the tour provided sleeping bags. On the other hand the sunrise photography might actually better when it's cooler.

Is the overnight camping possible to arrange with a private guide? The China Guide trip takes 2 full days and I don't know enough to say whether the other parts of the tour are of real interest. Also I have to pay for 2 people since I'm travelling solo - even if there are others on the trip. Advice welcome.
