mombasa hotels

we are going to Mombasa in August and cant decide where to stay. Have 2 boys 14 and 9 so want good pool, beach and plenty of sports.

Are considering Serena Beach and Turtle Bay Beach club and also Sun and Sand or Southern palms.

Have heard seaweed can be quite a problem in August

Jambo

for the Boys the Turtle Bay Beach Club or the Sun N Sand is a good place. Also look at the Voyager Beach Resort or the Diani Reef & Spa.

these hotels have good pools so also if there is sea weed the boys enjoy the pools.

Karibu sana. Make sure you show the boys a kenyan safari even if you go for a overnight trip to tsavo east they will like it

Hi,

I was there last August and while there was a lot of seaweed further up the beach towards Hemmingways hotel and beyond, the staff at the Turtle Bay Beach Club raked the beach and burried it under the sand. The Turtle Bay Beach Club is a fantastic place, your boys will have a great time. We hardly saw our children (aged 11 & 9) for the three weeks we were there. They were so busy with all the activities and they even dined with their friends. A major plus for the Turtle Bay Beach Club is that it is the only hotel I've ever been in where children are treated like real people! Have a look at the website http://www.turtlebay.co.ke - it contains everything you need to know and more. You'll all have a great time if you decide to stay at the Turtle Bay Beach Club.
