Eating Vegetarian in Nairobi

Any restaurant recommendations for a vegetarian in Nairobi? That doesn't necessarily mean vegetarian restaurants, but places where one can order a good vegetarian meal or other general advice for eating as a vegetarian. Preferably in/near the central business district. Inexpensive and higher-end places are both fine.

Thanks!

There's a indian restaurant at the Inter Cont. Tratorria for italian (plenty of veg options). Nice choice of restaurants at the New Stanley.

Most restaurants would offer vegetarian options, as a large proportion of the Indian community in Kenya are vegetarian. All the 5 star hotels offer great vegetarian options (mainly Indian food).

Lots: Bombay Chowpaty in Diamond Plaza, in Westlands (really good South Indian vegetarian), Fogo Gaucho, also in Westlands (mostly Argentinian meat place, but with huge veggie buffet), Haandi (famous Indian, in Westlands), Amani Garden Café on Riverside Drive (veggie and vegan dishes) and as roadwarrior says plenty of places have some veggie options, even Carnivore…
