That's aproximately 7000 to 8500 Kenya shillings each way if that helps.
1 US $ is changing at 86.00 Kes. Or Better GBP 50 to 65.00
I do not think you will get prices lower than this for a 100 Km journey.

Its around ksh 8500/= for one way. In a good AC car.
8500/= for over 100 Km in an air conditioned car is a bargain.
The hotel is actually listed as 120km and even 150km north of Mombasa on the websites of various British travel agents so I'm surprised drivers are only asking 8500/=.
There's public transport also, that is if you don't mind taking Express Matatu (14 seater Nissan Van) for apprx. $3.00 O/W. Ask driver to drop you off at Gede, then take taxi to Watamu.
