1 hour 50 mins between 2 connecting flights in Jomo Kenyatta

Hi,

I will be flying KQ from Bangkok to Entebbe, with a stopover in Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta. My layover time is 1 hour 50 minutes. My luggage will be checked through to Entebbe. Don't think I need to go through immigration, so all I need to do is change gates & aircrafts. Will 1 hr 50 mins be cutting it too thin? Should I opt for a later flight (which is 6hrs 50 mins later - too long a layover).

Wanted to hear your opinion.

as you wont be collecting luggage or need a visa you wil be in transit and will be plenty of time

Hi.

As indicated above, as your luggage is checked through, there is no issues with the connection.

If there is a delay, and there are a number of passengers connecting from BKK to EBB they do sometimes hold the flight up for up to 30 minutes and rush passengers through, or will re-book you onto the next flight.

If the connection is too tight, sometimes your luggage won't make it.
