Hi,
I will be in Nairobi from 1/15-1/31. Are there grocery stores near the Inter Continental? Any general recommendations-markets, restaurants, wine shops? Thanks!

ya. for cafes, dorman and java rock. they're close to the city centre so you've got to get out! city park market on limuru road( just near aga khan hospital) stocks lots of fresh produce. peppers on parklands road has an awesome variety of cuisines to sample from. montys in sarit centre also has loads of different wine to chose from. hope thats ok!

The big Nakumatt supermarket near the Stanley is within walking distance from the Intercontinental and you can buy fruit at City Market.
