I'm going there for New Year's? What's not to miss?

Also, is 3 day trip to Mombassa worth it?

Nairobi during this period is a bee hive of activities! if you'll be here the eve of New Year, do not miss the fun, game meat, and dancing and fire works at the Carnivore restaurant... All other major hotels in the city will also be having some activity.

In Mombasa there are some beach parties organized during this time.. Have a great "safari"

i will also be in nairobi for new years and have been anxious to hear how things are there for the holiday, glad you asked the question... about mombasa. i was on the coast last february and went to kilifi instead. it was great. stayed three days at the mnarani club and enjoyed the quiet and the bay. worth looking into.
