Intercontinental or Hilton? Has anyone stayed at either? can you recommend a good hotel centrally located in Nairobi?

I've stayed at the Hilton but not the Intercontinental. I thought the Hilton was fine. It's a primarily business oriented hotel. Location wise these two hotels are within walking distance to each other.

The Norfolk Hotel is also a very nice hotel in central Nairobi.

Roma, Hi, A big name hotel is not a good choice at times. I would suggest the SERENA hotel in central Nairobi. A safe, elegant, reasonable hotel with superb atmosphere. SALEEM.

We just got back from Nairobi - and we just loved the Ngong House. They were so accomodating - superb service and the owner went to culinary school... so the food is excellent.
