Somewhere in my research I ran across a program in Kenya whereby for a fee, visitors can spend the day with a wildlife biologist (or other academic) tracking lion prides, et al. I want to say this was in Laikipia...tho I'm not certain. Is anyone aware of this, or has participated in such a program? Thanks!

Thanks Patty! BTW, did you read Philip Caputo's book, GHOSTS OF TSAVO? It's very interesting and readable. He's a novelist who traveled to Tsavo with some researchers looking for the causes of the notorious maneless lions. Very interesting read!

From amazon, think it cost me around £7, its a fantastic read if you can get hold of it.
In fact I,m going to start reading it again now.
