U.S. citizen without visa... is it possible?

Im planning on going to Bolivia, but haven´t obtained my visa yet. I read that you can get a visa at the port of entry.. is this possible, and has anyone done it? I will be coming from Argentina on a bus. Also, did you have to have a certification for your yellow fever shot?

Hey...No worries YES your Visa could be issued on arrival..but it can take a while if the Border Officials are Busy so be prepared with 2 passport size photos,Yello fever Certificate,Copy of a Credit/Debit Card & Proof of onward travel Plus a Fee of $131usd

try to have exact change in Brand New US Dollars as often they wont have change and wont accept bills that have any sort of Tear/wear/Dirt/ink...

I would highly suggest that if you have time to Get Your Visa done in Argentina before departing on your Bus trip.

I was Traveling with a Women from Argentina to Bolivia and the Bus was delayed 3 hours in order to Process her Visa as they were several US citizens at the border it took a whole and the border officials wont help you with anything..No change or Copies of anything..the only thing they provide is The application form. Some borders are easier than others and some travelors have been issued their visa with just their passport and paying the fee..but its better to be prepared than sorry

Have a safe Joruney!
