driving in Damascus

the way citizens of Damascus drive , is like living in a Hollywood film of policemen chasing the bad guys .Drivers never stay in their lane , changing lanes again and again ,Passing the red light in front of the policemen.Pedestrians crossing the road in the middle of cars passing through .Nevertheless , we did not see any accident or a fight between drivers, or drivers and pedestrians.

yes there seemed to be some sort of order in all that chaos... And drivers really do look out for each other, eg. by signalling clearly when they are going to overtake.
