Port Of Beirut / Tourist Cruise

I have the opportunity to visit Lebanon via the Port of Beirut on a Med Sea cruise. Considering the recent bombings in Beirut, I am wondering if tourist cruise ships are still docking and allowing passengers to disembark to sight-see ?

Thank you for any info you can offer.

Whether with a cruise ship or just coming by airplane to Beirut it is always possible to make a half day or full day trip in Lebanon, despite recent and old bombings tourist and archaeological attractions are open to internaltional visitors and local tourists. Those located in the South Governorate and Nabatiyeh Governorate and Naqourah headquarter of the UNIFIL need a written permit from a Lebanese Army barracks in Sidon to be visited.
