Restaurants near Dan Jerusalem on Mt. Scopus

Any suggestions for restaurants near the Dan Jerusalem? We won't have a car, so something within walking distance or a brief cab ride would be great. We don't eat meat, but eat fish and everything else.

Thanks!

There's nothing in walking distance from the Dan Jerusalem on Mt Scopus. It's location is its one disadvantage. You'll need to take a cab anywhere from that location.

Not fancy but there is a decent pizza place and I think one or two other options in French Hill (HaHagana street, just the other side of the university dorms; there is also a small supermarket there.

If you don't need kosher food, you could also conceivably walk down the hill to Askadinya in Sheikh Jarrah on Shimon HaTzadik street, though you would probably want to take a taxi back up the hill to your hotel :)

The dan runs a shuttle service into town. Ask the concierge and he will also advise you in relation to restaurants

Thanks, everyone! We actually stayed in the hotel last night and had their shabbat buffet--incredibly good and varied selection, especially for vegetarians like us (though there were plenty of meat options too). We'll be more adventurous tonight.
