candy to bring to Israel

We are staying with a family in Israel that we have skyped with. We are planning to bring some candy from home (USA) when we come. We are bringing M&Ms in Autumn colors since these are a novelty and they probably don't have them. Does anyone have suggestions as to what else we could bring for our hosts? The M&Ms are kosher.

Candy is fine but not vital. I suppose that on Wednesday after our holiday others will give you more advice. Why not take them out for dinner instead?

I wanted to bring them something from the US. Something that maybe they don't get in Israel. They sent us a package last year with lots of chocolates and different snacks and we enjoyed it. The snacks were not salty like what we have in the US. We do plan to take them out since they are hosting us for almost 2 wks.

I think this is a very sweet idea, Laura. Here is another thread that might give you some ideas.
