You guys are great!
hi please advice what train stop to exit when traveling from tel aviv to haifa by train and want to see Bahai Shrine / Persian Gardens, Zionism Avenue,
For the Bahai Shrine, get off the train at Haifa Merkaz/Central Hashmona. Bus 23 will take you from there to the shrine.
You don't need a bus, its less than a 15 minute walk to the bottom entrance to the Bahai Gardens/shrine and the a walk up the stairs.
You can see from this photo that it is quite a climb up to the Shrine, so depending on your condition and the temperature you may prefer to take a bus or taxi:
There are also tours of the Upper gardens, starting from the top of the hill and walking down to the Shrine. Here are the schedules for the tour (and visiting hours for the Shrine and lower gardens):
I am going from Haifa to Tel aviv by train tomorrow, hotel is on Hayarkon St and Bograshov Street, where should I get off and if I were to take a bus to the hotel, what bus # to take?
My first time to Israel.
Look at #11 on this thread:
Instead of getting on the #480, take the #10 City bus from the station down Ben-Yehuda to Bograshov (or take a taxi).
I will be staying on the Tel Aviv coast and looking to travel up to Haifa. What is the best way to get there? Taxi? How does one find a sherut taxi?
thanks for any suggestions
