Hi,

Anyone know of some well priced, day tours to Gallipoli. I understand that we are looking at a fair distance to travel to get there.

I've found four companies, but wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Thanks,

Burkey

Hi Burkey: try Fez tours, I hear they have a very nice to Troy and Gallipoli, you can't miss Troy. You can even climb up in the replica of Trojan Horse. http://www.feztravel.com. Enjoy yourself. Happy Travel, LemonLady

I have booked this tour for my visit in October:

www.istanbulvision.com/excuesions/t15.htm

It does Troy and Gallipoli in one day, leaving at 6:30 am and returning at 9:30 p.m. The people have been very responsive to deal with so far. Of course, I won't know how good the tour is until then.

It's not cheap, but it is exactly what we were looking for.

Please see 2007 additional information re. Fez travel on this website. From my personal experience in August of Fez I will say to anyone - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

I will not dwell on this matter as I have posted elsewhere on this site about it...

wow alot of deleted posts!

Ok back to the topic. try Hassle Free Tours: www.anzachouse.com/HF_Travel_Agency.shtml

I used them, they are well priced, have a range of tours, provided return transportation, the staff were friendly and knowledgable about the area. They also do tours to Troy. On the tours there was a range of ages aswell. They are connected to the Anzac House Hostel and you can have a tour where you stay there for the night, or you can just book the tour. Take a look, I would use them again if I go back.

If you have any other questions about them just let me know.
