Info on Arugam Bay, and weather in August on west coast |

I was wondering if anyone has recently been to, or knows what the situation is in terms of rebuilding and tourism in Arugam Bay at the moment. I'm hoping to visit Sri Lanka in August and would like to go to the east coast but am finding it hard at the moment to gage the situation there, so any help or info would be great. Thanks, oh and does anyone know what the weather is like on the west coast in August?
